EVERY PERSON DESERVES ACCESS TO A PUBLIC LIBRARY
Libraries provide FREE access to information and programs that allow community members to broaden their horizons, lead productive lives and support their community as a whole. They are one of the few places in a community where you can freely go to read, learn or just relax without any financial commitment.
The Buck Memorial strives to continually provide programs that meet the community needs, a collection that supports the reading interests of the community and a place for everyone.
HOW WE SUPPORT THE BUCKSPORT COMMUNITY
PROGRAMS
The Buck Memorial Library provides weekly programs for both adults and kids. Some of our most popular programs include Story Time & Crafts, Baby & Me, Crochet with Nolan, Youth Book Club, and Bilingual Story Time.
PARK PASSES
PARK PASSES
This year the Buck Memorial Library began offering museum and park passes to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Discovery Museum, Farnsworth Museum, Maine Maritime Museum, as well as a State Park Pass. These have been a wildly popular!
STORY WALK

During the summer months the Buck Memorial Library installs a story walk for both children and adults to enjoy as they walk along the beautiful Bucksport waterfront.

Every year the Buck Memorial Library provides special programming for our community members. These include author visits, Shark Day, Summer Reading, and many more!
