Buck Memorial Library

WELCOME to the new Buck Memorial Library website. We are happy to provide you with a new library card when you come visit. Additional services include Interlibrary loan for materials we don't have, and e-books through the Cloud Library. Our new library catalog can be searched from your own computer or phone. We hope to provide an excellent library experience for the Bucksport, Orland, and Verona Island communities. Stay tuned to this site or follow us on Facebook to learn about future plans, and events. We invite you to share ideas and suggestions for how the library can best serve the needs of the community.

Important Update: MASKS for all per CDC recommendations. Hancock County is moderate, but Waldo County is high for transmission rates. See: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view We are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to adjust our protocols to keep our community safe.

Beginning November 27th the front Main Street Entrance will be closed for the winter. Enter through the side glass doors and through the vestibule. Our hours will remain the same with the exception of holidays and school closings, in which case we will also be closed.
